This section introduces how to search for organizations (vendors) that manage OUI from OUI.

Vendors that manufacture equipment are assigned an OUI.

　A list of which OUIs have been assigned to which vendors can be found on the IEEE site, where you can check the correspondence between OUIs and organizations.

Multiple OUIs

　"Nintendo DS" has sold over 20 million units in Japan alone. In other words, one OUI can handle only about 16 million MAC addresses, and one OUI is not enough.

Vendors apply for OUI quotas and obtain multiple OUIs. Search for "NINTENDO" on the link I introduced above and check it out. Then you can see that the OUI below is acquired.
